The expansion follows the firm’s successful launch of a Hamburg office in 2007, and is part of an overall strategic plan to grow the firm’s legal team in Germany over the next five years.
Denzer and Fenck focus on serving private equity clients, mezzanine funds and banks, and provide legal counsel mainly in the areas of corporate mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and finance. They will be fully integrated with the firm’s Hamburg office and will work closely with Bryan Cave lawyers all over the world. In this way, they can provide a wide range of legal counsel on matters including employment, general commercial, antitrust, litigation, technology and intellectual property.

The addition of Tobias Fenck and Veit Denzer and the formal establishment of a Frankfurt office will offer our clients an integrated legal resource that is well positioned to capitalize on Germany’s substantial links to the finance and capital markets around the world.”
Dr. Denzer studied law and economics at the University of Bayreuth, University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain and the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich. In 1999, he graduated from the University of Munich. He then earned his doctorate in law from Johannes-Gutenberg University, Mainz, in 2003. Dr. Denzer is fluent in Spanish and worked at a law firm in Santiago, Chile, before his clerkship.
Dr. Fenck studied law at the Universities of Trier, Muenster and Dresden, and received his law degree from the University of Muenster in 2000 and his doctorate from the University of Dresden in 2004.
