Charlie Sheen has done some interesting things during the last couple of months, and what he did last week certainly ranks at the top of the list. Sheen definitely needs a tutorial on what a Direct Message is and what an Update is on Twitter. Why? The answer is quite simple; Sheen tweeted his phone number to his 5.5 million followers.

The accident happened when Sheen was attempting to send a Direct Message to Justin Bieber with his phone number in the tweet. Instead, Sheen provided 5.5 million people with his phone number. According to the Huffington Post, Sheen received over 1,800 text messages despite removing his tweet from his account.

The tweet read as follows: “310-954-7277 Call me bro. C.”

When the tweet mishap occurred, Sheen was dining in Las Vegas. Sheen will most definitely have to change his phone number to avoid any further text messages or phone calls from the public. Sheen had no problem laughing at the mishap as he answered his phone a couple of times while sitting at dinner. A source told the Daily Mail that “Charlie saw the funny side and answered the phone a few times, saying things like ‘Ray’s Pizza’ and ‘Winning.'”

“Charlie’s phone immediately went into meltdown,’ the source said. ‘It was ringing wildly, and he got 1,800 text messages in minutes. But his phone just continued ringing and buzzing and eventually just completely melted down. Charlie was like, “I guess I need a new phone.”‘

Daily Mail attempted to call the phone number that Sheen tweeted by said that the number has since been disconnected. Sheen was dining with friends at Caesars Palace when the Twitter mishap occurred. There were eight people at the table who took in caviar, black truffle soup and then meat and fish entrees. According to others in the restaurant, Sheen refrained from drinking even though there were three bottles of wine on the table.

“Charlie was the most polite in the group,” another insider to the publication. “At one point, he started getting out a cigarette. One of his friends told him, ‘You’re Charlie Sheen; you can do whatever you want,’ but the restaurant manager told him that was not the case and Charlie put his cigarette away.’”

Sheen has recently come to the defense of his ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, who was arrested in Aspen last weekend for possession and intent to supply cocaine. Sheen and Mueller have two year old twin boys, Max and Bob, with Sheen paying Mueller $55,000 each month in child support.

Sheen said that with all of the money he sends Mueller; there is no need for her to deal drugs to make ends meet. Sheen told TMZ that there is no way she needs to deal drugs with all of the money he gives her.
