The National League of Junior Cotillions recognized Kim Kardashian. However, Kardashian didn’t get any kudos. She was named “The Most Ill-Mannered Person of 2011.” The organization chided the photogenic socialite for making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage.”
Who was described as the antithesis of Kardashian? Her Royal Highness, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, obviously. NLJC national director Elizabeth Anne Winteres praised the duchess for “the poise and dignity with which she conducts herself in the public spotlight.”
In fact, she was named one of the NLJC’s “Ten Best-Mannered People of 2011.” That was in addition to being a TIME Magazine “Person of the Year” finalist.
Justin Bieber, Paula Abdul, Taylor Swift and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers also landed on the list alongside the duchess.
