During one of her most recent concerts, this one in Portugal, Rihanna left everything she had out on the stage. When we say she literally left it all on stage, she literally left it all on stage.
America’s hottest pop star had some issues with digestion while on stage at Lisbon’s Atlantico Arena in Portugal this past weekend. Rihanna had to run off the stage in the middle of singing her hit song, “What’s My Name,” so she could throw up out of the sight of the audience. As Rihanna deposited her dinner off stage, her back up dancers moved to the forefront of the stage to entertain the crowd, but her fans did not have to live without her for too long, as she was back on stage singing again in moments. After the show, Rihanna tweeted the following message to one of her fans:
“yep! i ran off stage to throw up, halfway thru Whats My Name…made it back juuuust in time for RudeBoy.”
Before anyone begins laughing at Rihanna’s misfortune while reading this article, make sure you know the backstory of her recent illnesses. Earlier in the month of December, Rihanna had to be put on a health watch for 24 hours during her tour because she allegedly suffered a meltdown backstage in Dublin. She was put on the 24-hour medical watch by her record label. There are some sources that also claim that the personal trainer for Mariah Carey has been brought on board to help Rihanna get into shape.
Back in November, there were reports that surfaced that Rihanna was thinking of taking one year off to recoup after a hectic couple of years. Rihanna Gets Sick at Concert
The touring has been almost nonstop for Rihanna, which is one of the reasons why she has considered taking at least a year off from touring.
