Maybe he’s bucking for his own ‘spin off’ reality show.
Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice, husband of Jersey “Housewife” Teresa Giudice, was indicted for allegedly using his brother’s identification to get a New Jersey driver’s license.
In January of this year, Joe Giudice’s license was suspended following a DUI arrest. According to the indictment handed down by the Passaic County grand jury, Joe used his brother Pietro’s marriage license and birth certificate to obtain a license with his brother’s name but with his own photo on it in June 2010.
But that’s not Joe’s only brush with the law. He was arrested last March after an investigation by the Passaic County prosecutor’s Financial Crimes Unit, the Motor Vehicle Commission and police in Lincoln Park, according to nj.com.
The event that triggered that investigation was as a result of Pietro being pulled over during a routine traffic stop. When the police checked Pietro’s license in the computer, they saw Joe’s picture.
Joe was indicted on one count of wrongfully using identifying information. This comes with a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. In addition, he was slapped with one count of impersonation, which could cost him 18 months in prison.
Prior to that, Joe filed for bankruptcy in 2009. He then withdrew the filing last September after facing charges of bankruptcy fraud. He was accused by his bankruptcy trustee of hiding his assets.
In addition to filing for bankruptcy, Giudice and his wife were threatened with a lawsuit after allegedly getting in a bar brawl in the Dominican Republic in June.
And after Giudice was originally picked up for the DUI, it was found he had several warrants outstanding for city ordinance violations.
Give it a rest already Joe. The show doesn’t need higher ratings.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is a reality television program on the Bravo network which originally followed the lives of five women in and around several upscale communities in Northern New Jersey. It is the network’s fourth installation of The Real Housewives of… series, following The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of Atlanta. At the time of its airing, part 1 of the series’ second season reunion had the highest-rated episode ever out of the entire franchise.
