Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals nominee Paul Watford was harshly questioned regarding his firm’s work on a case. Clearly there is suspicion of a conflict of interests here which has alarmed parties on both sides of the isle. Watford was nominated by President Barack Obama.  He currently is a litigation partner at Munger, Tolles, & Olson LLP.
