A new book by a former White House correspondent reveals that Watergate was only one of a couple scandalous aspects of President Richard Nixon’s life. The book is titled ‘Nixon’s Darkest Secrets: The Inside Story of America’s Most Troubled President,’ and is written by Don Fulsom.
Fulsom is the former correspondent for United Press International, who makes an accusation that Nixon had a gay affair with Charles Rebozo, a Key Biscayne, Florida, banker who supposedly had ties with the mob.
Also alleged in the new book is that Nixon beat his wife and that his aides would refer to him as ‘our drunk,’ according to the Huffington Post. The press release for the book says that Fulsom supports his claims using government documents, interviews with former White House staffers and ex-members of Congress. The book hits shelves at the end of January.
