A Springfield, Missouri woman called police when she received sugar from a drug dealer when she thought she purchased crack cocaine. Suzanne Basham, 47, called police to report her dealer.
Basham called police on January 10, according to the police report, to report her dealer for stealing from her. She told police that she paid the dealer $40 for crack cocaine and was given sugar instead of crack cocaine, making her so upset that she thought it was necessary to turn in her dealer in an effort to have the dealer arrested.
It has been reported that Basham asked the cops to arrest her dealer and to get her a refund for the money spent on the sugar. Basham sent officers to an address where she claims she purchased the crack. The residents of the address denied selling drugs and did not permit officers to enter the home. Does this really come as a shock to anyone these days that they did not permit the police to enter the house?
Basham ended up in handcuffs in the end, arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after they found a crack pipe. Basham has been arrested on drug charges before, with the mug shot in this post coming from a drug arrest back in 2010.
