A Los Angeles woman, Khadijah Baseer, 31 was arrested January 11 after disrupting business at a McDonalds restaurant. Employees know her well, as she’s been panhandling at the restaurant for months. Matters escalated Wednesday when Khadija approached the manager, told him she was hungry, and offered him oral sex in exchange for free McNuggets.
“She solicits money from customers and is always causing some sort of disturbance,” said the manager. True to the description, the woman, after her offer to the manager had been declined, took to opening customer’s car doors in the drive-through, at around 11 p.m. Despite early news reports, she did not offer the drive-through customers the same exchange as she had the manager.
Baseer, who was later arrested on “suspicion of prostitution,” and who remains in custody on a $2,000 bail, was reported not for prostitution, but refusal to leave McDonalds property. This was just the latest of a series of her run-ins with the law, said the Burbank police.
