Okay, seriously, who didn’t think of Sound of Music when you read the title?
I LOVE this movie! Who doesn’t? My favorite scene is weirdly the puppet one, with the goats. Yea… I don’t know why, I think I always wished I could be a puppeteer. I actually had a giant bird puppet that I got at Worlds of Fun one year. I wonder what happened to that…
And if any of you are confused as to what Worlds of Fun is… well, we can’t be friends anymore. The best/worst amusement park ever. In Kansas City. Be jealous.
I digress.
The point of this post was to share some of my favorites right now!
Favorite Blog Posts
Peas and Thank You – an old post but a great commentary on children’s food
Bites and Bliss – A great commentary on how people should change their lifestyle rather that solely depending on medication. And Paula Deen.
Best Body Fitness – this is a great post by Tina about how to eat healthy and with a healthy mentality. This one really hit home for me! Definitely check out her site, I LOVE Tina and her blog!
Favorite Products
No Zit Sherlock – I had a Sephora gift card and ended up buying these Acne system for my skin. I am awful at taking care of my skin so I thought I’d give this a try. It’s already looking better and it’s only been 2 weeks!
elf Eye Shadow – While taking care of my skin, I’m also attempting to wear makeup more often… Haha I think I’ve become a tomboy. I love elf because it’s really cheap so great for experimenting with new colors!

Recipes I Want to Try
Pumpkin Protein Egg White Puffs (say that 5 times fast) on Daily Crumb (the picture is from Kathleen’s post, don’t they look delicious!? And by the way, the temperature she put up for Chicago is correct… very correct. Brrr)
Over Easy Savory Oatmeal with Kale on Clean Eating Chelsey (picture from Chelsey’s blog!) I’ve made savory oats before, but never with an egg. It sounds so simple, yet so delicious!
Quinoa Quiche on Hungry Hungry Hippie (again, photo from Elise’s blog). This looked so simple and perfect for one person! I am DYING to give this one a try!
Recipes You Should Try!
One of my Protein Cupcakes! Seriously, to die for and so quick and easy to make! Tons of flavors!
Or, you can try out the original recipe from Ashley’s blog, My Food N Fitness Diaries, where I got the original idea from her Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Protein Pizookie!
Julie Go Lean’s Egg White Oats that I tried the other day! Although I made a bit of a mess making them, and burnt my fingers…, I really liked the idea! Try it out!
Jamie Eason’s Turkey Muffins! Seriously, I have been eating these every day this week and I’m still not tired of them. They are SO GOOD! Also healthy and full of protein! Win, Win!
