A man from southeastern Pennsylvania has been locked up after he decided to go on a nude shopping excursion in a Walmart local to the Philadelphia area. While in the store he decided to steal a pair of socks, which were the only pieces of clothing on his body when he was arrested by police.
The accused, Verdon Lamont Taylor, was arrested last week following a nude shopping outing in Walmart. The store is located in Exton and the majority of the event was recorded on security cameras, even the part where he strips naked before walking into the building.
Taylor is six foot four inches tall and weighs 300 pounds. Authorities believe Taylor was either high or drunk at the time of the incident. Taylor is from Downingtown, whom shoppers decided to smartly avoid while he browsed the aisles looking for the perfect pair of socks.
A stun gun was used on Taylor by police officers in order to subdue him because he would not follow orders issued by the police. He also reportedly spit on the face of a police officer on the scene.
Taylor is being held at the Chester County Prison on $50,000 bail after he was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault and indecent exposure. An attorney for Taylor has yet to be named, according to court records.
