Robin Thicke, the popular R&B singer and songwriters has recently been arrested in New York City due to possession of marijuana. The charge against him is only a minor drug charge; however, it still made headlines.
Robin Thicke is 34 years old and is the son of Alan Thicke, an actor who played Jason Seaver on the Growing Pains sitcom. Thicke was arrested on Friday, at some point in the afternoon right around the area of Madison Square Park. According to police, he was pulled over by an officer and after being pulled over; the officer saw a joint inside of his vehicle. Thicke was given a ticket and was released shortly thereafter.
A publicist for Thicke was not available for comments. Thicke also has not spoken out about his recent arrest, leaving many fans wondering if he will ever address his recent problems.
In the meantime, Thicke is known for having produced various songs for many celebrities, which included the late Michael Jackson, along with Christina Aguilera and many other popular people within the music industry. He also recorded his own songs and released a hit song, Sex Therapy, in 2009. His most recent album, entitle Love After War, was just released a few months ago, sometime in December.
