Whitney Houston died at the age of 48 on February 11 at a hotel room in California. We have now learned that Houston left all of her belongings and estate to Bobbi Kristina Brown, her 19-year-old daughter. According to multiple reports, the will put together by Houston does not include one mention of ex-husband Bobby Brown. The will is 19 pages long.
All of Houston’s belongings, which do include her jewelry and her money, will be going to Bobbi Kristina instead of Bobby Brown. A trust will be created for Bobbi Kristina, which is where the money will be deposited. Payouts will be issued to Bobbi Kristina when she hits the ages of 21, 25 and 30. The will for Houston was filed in Atlanta. Ever since Houston passed away, the family has been making $700,000 from royalty payments of $1 per album sold.
Ever since Houston’s death her albums have been seeing excellent sales. Nine of Houston’s albums have broken into the Billboard 200, placing at numbers 2, 4, 10, 13, 21, 31, 32, 50 and 80 respectively.
“The last time one act had at least nine out of the week’s top 100 sellers was on Oct. 17, 2009, when the Beatles racked 11 out of the top 100,†according to Billboard. Bobbi Kristina will talk with Oprah on March 11 during a special television show.
