A lost cat in Austria has prompted a major UFO debate. The lost cat was being searched for by a farmer, who discovered a hole that he thinks is storing a UFO. The man, Franz Knoglinger, found the hole, which is 25 feet deep. The hole is also perfectly round and is located in a field in northwestern Austria. The man was searching for his missing cat on Sunday night when he found the field.

“I was looking for our family cat Murlimann when I noticed the hole — I didn’t know how deep it was then so I dropped the stone down there, and heard a metallic clunk,” he said. “I managed to get a big magnet which I dangled down there and it clearly fastened onto something at the bottom –- so there is something large and metallic about down there. It also sounds as if there is a hollow space around about whatever the metal object is. It sounds as if there is a room underneath.”

The man decided to call a plumber from the area so he could lower a camera into the hole. The camera did not work because it failed just as it approached the object in the hole. Knoglinger claims that the camera might have failed because of “some sort of electrical field.”

Over 500 people have already visited the hole on the first day following its discovery as the rumors fly about the object. One theory for the hole, as stated by archaeologists, is that the wooden timber from an underground burial chamber could have rotted.

That theory does not effectively explain the metal object found in the hole. Some locals think that it could be a bomb that malfunctioned during the war ‘Doorway to Hell.’ Knoglinger thinks it is a buried space object. Tests are going to be performed by geologists before excavation of the object begins.
