Such thoughts may have inspired Mike Stone, 18, who tweeted over 600 porn stars requests that they be his date to his highschool prom which takes place May 12. Two of them replied to Mike that they would, Megan Piper and Emy Reyes.
Piper tweeted back, “If you can get me there, then yes :).”
Reyes tweeted back, “Awww that’s reappear hun and I would love tooo” [sic].
Piper, 19, was excited at the prospect of attending prom, having missed her own, and did not mind if Reyes also attended. She said “I thought it was really cute, and I thought it would make his night by saying ‘yes.'”
The incident has attracted widespread media attention, excluding, for a time, his school’s principle and his own parents. Meanwhile, he was considering opening a PayPal account and requesting donations to make his dream come true.
Unfortunately for Mike, the dream was not to be. Patty Phillips, the superintendent of the North St. Paul-Maples School District, has prohibited Piper from attending on the grounds that the school district has the right to bar visitors whose appearance would be “not in the best interest” of the school.
