While many are honoring the deceased Whitney Houston, renowned singer of such timeless classics as “I will Always Love You,” who met her untimely death recently, others are debating how to scandalize her. Star Magazine released a story Wednesday claiming that Whitney’s boyfriend, Ray J, who made Kim Kardashian famous with a sex tape he made with her, is debating whether to make Whitney infamous the same way. They claim he has “a ton of Whitney Houston sex tapes and erotic photographs,” and though the family is begging him to hand them over, he’s been mulling over whether exploit the fact that he is “sitting on a gold mine,” or whether to give them to the family. But Ray J and his spokesman are categorically denying the entire story.
Ray J’s spokesman, Courtney Barnes declaimed the report: “The despicable tabloid report released today claiming the existence of a sex tape between Ray J and Whitney Houston is not true….There is no sex tape.”
Intimates of Houston confirm that there were no pictures or footage at all taken of Whitney. With such news story dynamite as the death of a Whitney, eager readers may forget the obvious fact that tabloids are by their nature an unreliable news source.
