While walking on the red carpet at the LOGO 2012 NewNowNext Awards, Perez Hilton had plenty of people talking and it was not because of his celebrity gossip. Hilton decided to show off his brand new body while on the red carpet. He opened up his blazer to show those in attendance his toned abs. Hilton, 34, is a well-known celebrity blogger who is also known for his plump body. It has been reported that Hilton lost anywhere from 70 to 80 pounds since he started a new diet and workout regimen back in 2008. There were rumors abound that Hilton had surgery to help him remove the weight but he quickly shot down those rumors.
Hilton told many outlets that he lost the weight with a combination of portion control and plenty of time at the gym.
“It wasn’t quick,” he said. “And I worked for it! I’m STILL working for it! In fact, I’m working much harder on my fitness now than when I first started this journey.”
When Hilton was asked about why he did not have a shirt on underneath his jacket, Hilton replied with the following:
“That outfit was more than just about fashion for me. It was also a statement. I was saying, ‘I’m owning my body. I’ve worked very hard to transform it. And I’m feeling GREAT!'”

Hilton’s real name is Mario Lavanderia and he said that losing the weight was not simply for looking good.
“Looking good isn’t as good as FEELING good. And I feel better than ever! I hope I’m able to inspire others.”
