The saga between Deion Sanders and his wife Pilar Sanders has gotten interesting once again. This time, Pilar was arrested for domestic violence after she attacked her husband in their home in Texas on Monday afternoon. According to the website for the Colin County Jail, Pilar was arrested and then booked for ‘assault family violence,’ which is a misdemeanor. It was reported on Monday that NFL Hall of Famer Deion was attacked by his estranged wife and her friend in his bedroom. Deion also said that two of his sons saw the entire attack against him.
The couple is in the midst of a very bitter divorce, one that had Pilar shopping for a new home that Deion was going to purchase for her a couple of months ago. The couple is still living together in their Dallas home despite the divorce process. Deion told reporters that Pilar was transported to the hospital after the attack occurred because she needed medical treatment. Pilar is now in police custody. Deion has said that he did not hurt Pilar but did defend himself until he had the chance to call police. Deion Sanders tweeted the following after the incident: “Pray for me and my kids now!” Sanders wrote. “She’s going to jail n I’m pressing charges!”
