Susanne Eman is a bride who is very particular about her wedding dress. She really is not worried about style, fabric and design as much as she is worried about the color of the dress.
“I like an off-whitish, not completely white. Because if I wear completely white, I guarantee I’m going to spill something on it,” Eman said.
Any bride could spill something on their wedding dress but it becomes more likely that it will happen to a bride who is 800 pounds like Eman is. Eman averages 30,000 calories per day. Eman is working towards becoming the fattest woman in history, trying to beat the 1,200 pound record held by Rosalie Bradford, who passed away in 2006.
Eman recently fell in love with Parker Clark, a chef she met on the web.
“Oh, he’s wonderful. He loves to cook,” she said. “That helps out. His food is soooo good.”
The seamstress in charge of making the dress is Judy Goff, who thinks that Eman’s dress will be the biggest she has ever seen.
“Okay, we have about 15 feet here and we need 45 feet, so about three times this amount to complete her dress,” Goff said.
The dress will need to fit around Eman’s waist, which is 107-and-a-half inches, or nine feet around.
“I want to go sleeveless because it’s going to be summer time,” said Eman.
