The debt in the United States has increased at incredible rates since 1940, where it sat below $1 trillion. At the time this video was produced, in 2012, the country’s debt sites at $15.6 trillion and it is estimated that when we hit the year 2022, the country’s debt will come in at $25.9 trillion.
