The law firm of Greenberg Traurig has announced via a press release that Hyun Chung has joined the firm as a shareholder in the firm’s New York Corporate & Securities Practice. Chung will work on increasing the practice of the firm in Korea and across Asia. Chung previously was the Director and Counsel at Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC. While there he advised on multiple structured products and derivatives. He also practiced law with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in their New York office as a Senior Corporate Attorney.

The practice run by Chung is centered on corporate and securities law while also focusing on corporate finance and structured products and derivatives. Chung provides legal counsel for collateralized loan obligations, structured products and leveraged investments. Chung has worked on cases involving CLOs, CDOs, convertible debt securities, high-yield securities, medium-term notes, equity linked securities, convertible debt securities, common stock and equity units. Chung will work closely with another new addition, Frank Adams, who is in the London office. Adams recently joined the firm from Dewey & LeBoeuf where was the global chair for corporate finance.
