72 days of marriage, but many more in divorce battles. Kim Kardashian, whose life would represent a real-life soap opera, if it weren’t so silly, has served a subpoena to Myla Sinanaj, her ex-husband Kris Humphries’ ex-girlfriend. She is seeking access to the texts the two shared after Kris and Kim’s divorce.
Kris and his lawyer tried to hide and even lie to cover up the relationship between he and Myla, apparently so there was no question that he was devastated by his divorce from Kim after the 72 day stint. He is, after all, demanding $7 million to suture the wounds of a broken heart. If he was on to his new girlfriend so quick, how broken could he be? At least those are the questions Kris and his lawyer were attempting to dodge.
Kim’s lawyer wants access to their intimate and personal texts to see if they said anything relating to Kris’s claim that Kim defrauded him. He wants access to their texts and emails. Myla has subsequently accepted services of Joe Tacopina to represent her.
Meanwhile, the circus continues with Kim and her family being interviewed on Oprah, where mother Kardashian says she wasn’t ashamed to admit in her memoir she cheated on her late husband, where Kim attributed their success to their family love, which was patterned on episodes of the Osbourne’s, and where Kim admitted she was made into a public figure because of her infamous sex tape, but that it wasn’t the real her.
Kris’s lawyers, meanwhile, are using the interview to mine it for information to use it in court. Said one source:
“Kris’ lawyers will grill Kim about the specific of her conversation with her mother on the eve of her wedding. What was exactly said and why did Kris say that to her daughter? Kim’s explanation of why her mom asked her just doesn’t make sense. There is a lot more going on to this than the public know, and Kris wants answers. Kris was left in the dark, and it was very hurtful for him to hear that Kim was bored with him.”
“Kim spent more time mourning the end of her marriage, claiming to be depressed for four months, than the actual marriage which only last for 72 days, Kim has no idea how much she has helped her estranged hubby’s lawyers prepare for her upcoming deposition. Kris’ lawyers are looking forward to watching the second part of Kim’s interview with Oprah [which airs this Sunday].”
