Finally someone put Justin Bieber in his place and it came from an unlikely source. The singer from Canada, just 18, thinks that Michelangelo painted the ‘Sixteenth Chapel.’ Well, for his mistake, David Letterman called the singer out on his show last night. While on the ‘Late Show,’ Bieber decided to show off the new tattoo on his arm, and Letterman acted like a cranky old man who disapproved of the ink. Letterman leaned over his desk, grabbed Bieber’s arm where the tattoo is, causing Bieber to scream in pain.
Bieber was able to force a smile during the incident as Letterman continued to give the singer a very hard time on the show. Letterman said to Bieber, “Don’t go nuts [with the tattoos] … because more and more you see like the mural … like the Sistine Chapel, it’s too much.”
Bieber then responded to Letterman’s barb with, “I’m not going for the Sixteenth Chapel.”
Letterman couldn’t help but laugh at the youngster and proceeded to say, “Canadian high school.”
From the minute Bieber stepped onto the stage Thursday night he was under attack by Letterman. There really is no excuse for mispronouncing the name of one of the most well-known and beautiful places on Earth. Make sure you check out the video embedded in this post.
