2004 Playboy Playmate Colleen Shannon has been arrested after attempting to smuggle an illegal alien into the United States from Canada. Shannon, 34, was obtained by police for “bringing in an harboring aliens.” According to multiple media outlets, the man Shannon was smuggling into the country was her boyfriend.
Shannon was transported to Clinton County Jail in New York after authorities caught her with the illegal alien. If Shannon is convicted, she could face a maximum of ten years in prison. Shannon is from Alaska and many outlets confirmed that her Facebook page was being updated on Saturday, which could mean that she was released from jail.
Shannon is employed as a DJ right now, which she has been doing since 2004, which is when she was named the 50th Anniversary Playmate in January of 2004.
A representative for Shannon described her arrest as a “misunderstanding.”
According to her Playboy bio back in 2004, “Everyone is put here to do something,” she said. “Your subconscious tells you the things that you love to do, but a lot of people put those things aside. I think if you stick to things you love, nine times out of 10, circumstances are going to go your way and you will live a happy life.”
