Snooki Has a Baby: Mother, Son Doing Great

Nicole Polizzi, the “Jersey Shore” reality star popularly known as Snooki, has given birth to a baby boy. Snooki had her baby in the early hours at a New Jersey hospital on Sunday. A statement by her representatives mentioned “The world just got another Guido! Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the world weighing six pounds, five ounces. Nicole, Jionni and Enzo are doing great!”

Snooki was engaged in March to boyfriend Jionni LaValle and announced her pregnancy the same monh. Her hard partying style is one of the key attractions of the MTV hit reality show “Jersey Shore.” Though Snooki has often been ridiculed along with “Jersey Shore” the show has consistently topped U.S. TV ratings for MTV.

Snooki, 24, was overwhelmed with joy and tweeted on Sunday, “I am so IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6 lbs! HE’S MY WORLD!”

Snooki admitted to the media of enduring pregnancy – prompted stress nightmares and last month in an interview, she said on Access Hollywood Live: “I had a dream that [my son] came out and he was a gorgeous little baby, then he turned 2, and he turned into a Chucky doll and he was trying to kill me … I was like, throwing him off the bed and he was like, ‘Mommy, why did you throw me off the bed [and] try to kill me?’ I don’t know why I dreamt that!”

So, with the birth over, Snooki must be fine, and according to reports both mother and son are having a great time.
