Rush Limbaugh is at it again, this time providing the listeners of his radio show with a theory on Tropical Storm Isaac and the Republican National Convention. Limbaugh said during his show Monday that President Barack Obama and his administration changed the forecast for Isaac in order to mess with the Republicans. Isaac turned into a Category One storm on Tuesday night as it made landfall in Louisiana, providing many with flashbacks of Hurricane Katrina.
The GOP also worried about how their convention was going to be affected in Tampa, Florida. The events on Monday at the convention were cancelled due to the storm but things got underway on Tuesday when forecasters deemed the Gulf Coast of Florida out of the landing zone of Isaac.
During his radio show Monday, Limbaugh claimed that, “With none of this am I alleging conspiracy.” Limbaugh also said that the National Hurricane Center, which monitors the Tropics, is “the regime. It’s the government. It’s Obama.”
Limbaugh noted his suspicions began when the storm moved away from Florida not long after the Republicans canceled their scheduled events for Monday. “What could be better for the Democrats than the Republicans to cancel a day of this?” he said. “…I’m alleging no conspiracy. I’m just telling you, folks, when you put this all together in this timeline, I’m telling you, it’s unbelievable!”
