In a recent video posted on the official YouTube channel of Chuck Norris, the actor warns the citizens of America by saying that we face “1,000 years of darkness” if Barack Obama is elected for a second term. The video, which is two minutes long and embedded in this post, features Norris and his wife, Gena. Also in the video are work-out instructions and promos for the movie “The Expendables 2.”
Both Chuck and Gena warn Americans of a “growing concern” that America as we know it will disappear if the president is elected to a second term.
“If we look to history, our great country and freedom are under attack,” Norris said in the video. “We’re at a tipping point and, quite possibly, our country as we know it may be lost forever if we don’t change the course in which our country is headed.”
In the video, Gena brings out a statistic from the 2008 presidential election. The stat Gena provided shows that over 30 million Evangelical Christians did not vote on election day, resulting in the win for Obama. Gena then quoted former president Ronald Reagan, “You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into 1,000 years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.”
Chuck endorsed Newt Gingrich for president back in January but had to then endorse Mitt Romney when Gingrich backed out of the race. Chuck provided his endorsement for Romney in an article. “I believe that Mitt has the skills and organization to defeat Obama and stop his fundamental transformation of America,” Chuck wrote in the article, which was anti-Obama. “We all know what four more years of increased socialistic decisions would do to our country.”
