The law firm of Dinsmore has announced via a press release that James Kipling has joined the firm at its office in Cincinnati. He will serve as a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice. He formerly worked as the Chief Legal Officer for Hasbro Inc.’s Kenner division. While at Kenner Kipling worked as the sole or lead attorney for negotiating master licenses for properties that included both trilogies of Star Wars, DC Comics Superheroes, the Disney Library, the Marvel Universe, NASCAR and the National Football League.
Karen Gaunt, the Director of the firm’s Trademark, Copyright and Brand Strategies Group, said the following about Kipling’s addition to the firm:

Kipling graduated from Georgetown University of Law Center with his J.D. and he earned his B.S. from the University of Cincinnati in Mechanical Engineering. Early on in his career Kipling worked for General Electric Company as a patent attorney.
