Hot Anime Girl Walks Off the Screen into the Person of Anastasiya Shpagina

Cosplay is rather conventional; youths and adults attending anime conventions, for instance, often dress up as their favorite sexy heroines or powerful heroes, complete with neon blue hair and oversized sword. But 19-year-old Ukrainian Anastasiya Shpagina takes it to a whole new level: she spends hours each day transforming herself into a real-life anime character.

Some men have a fetish for this. Japan produces plenty of adult-videos in their anime genre, and sex-doll makers “Real Doll” offer a doll named “Anna Mae.” And with the counterpart of a real-life Barbie Doll, who incidentally, is friends with Anastasiya, there was a niche for such a peculiar look.

Anastasiya offers a YouTube tutorial for how to look like a “Flower Fairy” which has received half a million views; and her Facebook page has received 12,000 likes. All the work of makeup — 30 minutes on each eye — and whatever diet she is on to keep her stature at 85 pounds evidently are paying off for Anastasiya. She has considered having surgery to make her eyes look even more like anime, but such a commitment would take this away from being a youthful phase to giving her a life-long anime face.

And what a face! The anime eyes, the neon hair, the ivory skin, the waifish body — she does look like the ideal women — at least for Japanese cartoon aficionados. They typically make their characters to be school-girls, angels, androids, and often turn the plots to satisfy some male’s sexual fantasy, such as a dorky youth who happens to have a harem of attractive women fighting over him (Tenchi Muyo, and many others), or a young boy who accidentally has an attractive robotic woman imprint on him (Steel angel Kurumi, and many others).

So the sexual angst is there. What was missing was a real life anime girl to fill the need.
