As the saying goes, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Well, that sentiment comes into play with the recent photo hitting the internet of actress Kristen Stewart and actor Robert Pattinson. There were rumors flying recently that the two had reunited after their public, messy breakup over the summer. Now, there is a picture to pretty much prove that the rumor is true.
The two were seen getting close at Ye Rustic Inn the in Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday. Those at the bar said that the two appeared to be a couple once again after their mess this summer.
“Rob and Kristen sat next to each other all night,” a source said to People magazine. “They were both in a great mood. They kept smiling at each other and were laughing with their friends. They looked happy and everything seemed great. They were flirty and held hands, but didn’t kiss.”
The couple was also seen earlier in the weekend, on Saturday, at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. They were there to attend the birthday party of a friend. According to someone at the Chateau Marmont who spoke with Us Weekly, the couple was “whispering very close and intimately.” Another eyewitness said that the two “snuck into the garden from a private side entrance.”
The couple has tried vigorously to keep their reunion quiet to prevent criticism from their fans, many of whom do not approve of their getting back together. Stewart had an affair with the married director of “Snow White and the Huntsman,” Rupert Sanders. In July, Stewart issued an apology for the affair.
Ever since the affair came to light, the couple moved out of the home they shared in Los Angeles but Stewart supposedly purchased a $2.1 million home a mile and a half from Pattinson’s house.
“They’re afraid of backlash, so they’re keeping things on the down-low,” the couple’s friend said to Us Weekly.
