Two former coworkers of the New Orleans law firm Barrasso, Usdin, Kupperman, Freeman & Sarver have come to some undisclosed settlement and had a judge dismiss a case involving the allegations that one masturbated in the office of the other, as reported in The Times-Picayune. The alleged masturbator, Keith Magness, who has since been fired over the incident, was accused of visiting the office of his female coworker (whose name has not been disclosed), and masturbating on her dress. Over time, the stain continued to grow, as well as other stains appearing on her chair. The office manager hid a video camera in the office and allegedly caught Magness in the act on Aug. 27 2011 when he paid a Saturday visit to her office, laying her dress on her desk and giving it the unusual form of attention they had suspected he would.
Magness was fired and went on to open his own private law firm. What that firm has had to pay in this settlement is uncertain, but he meanwhile is still facing criminal charges from the New Orleans Criminal District Court for criminal damages and stalking. The police confirmed the evidence of semen, and Magness’s attorney, Jason Williams was not able to bar the surveillance tape as evidence during the pending trial.
