Nadya Suleman, also known as Octomom, the woman who decided to gestate the remainder of her fertilized embryos all at once, despite living on state aid, resulting in Octuplets added to the the children she already had, is in a hot mess. According to TMZ, she has checked into Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center in Southern California to help her overcome her dependence on anti-anxiety drug Xanax.
In the meantime, her fourteen children are being cared for by three nannies and two friends. Suleman’s rep tells us that “Nadya wanted to get off the Xanax she was prescribed by her doctor and learn to deal with her stress, exhaustion and anxiety with professional help with a team of doctors. Nadya wanted to deal with her issues and make sure she is the best mother she can be.”
There are questions, however, regarding what sort of mother she actually is. Former nannies have complained that her older children are sexually abusing the eight younger children; they also reported black eyes and other signs of abuse. Suleman explains away the reports of these nannies as being inspired by jealousy over her children.
A hairstylist that visited the mother to give her hair cuts costing $600 to $2,000 a month reported that meanwhile the plumbing on the house was out, and the children were using portable training toilets in the backyard. The pictures she took and the report she gave convinced Social Services Agency to pay a visit.
Meanwhile, Octomom has become a porn star, starring in such features as “Home Alone.” This has brought in 6 figures for the mother, but also is not without problems. Nanny Gina B informed the Orange County Dept of Children and Family Services that Nadya came to her on June 28, crying because her 11-year-old had been watching an online video of his mother’s masturbation porn. When the nanny suggested they needed a passcode to block the site, Octomom decided to drop the matter in favor of having a talk with her son and with her then boyfriend Frankie.
