This happened two years ago but is only coming to light now. Hall has sought to have the TSA agent responsible for the embarrassment canned, but Hartsfield-Jackson Airport of Atlanta Georgia says it was an accident, and merely made the agent apologize and get more training.
“We regret that the incident of more than two years ago was one that caused embarrassment to the young lady; however, an investigation concluded that the event was accidental.” Nothing like an apology that minimizes its own faults (“two years ago”)!
The TSA insists they have a strict process for pat downs. Nevertheless, their hypervigiliance has created an atmosphere and paranoia around airports, making travelling a trial rather than a holiday for many people, especially a person who happens to look “suspicious” to security.
