In the new issue of Marie Claire, ‘Glee’ star Lea Michele talks about the secret to her success.
“These babies are great,” she says of her breasts. “They are my prizewinners.”
Michele first made a name for herself using her singing and dancing talents on ‘Glee,’ but now has become known for her displaying her cleavage on the red carpet and on magazine covers.
“They were nervous to make their appearance but feel they’ve earned their place,” she joked to the magazine. “So they asked if they could come out, and I was like, ‘All right, you guys.’ They definitely rose to the occasion, so I’m going to continue to give them more opportunities.”
Just last year, Michele upset parents of teens and pre-teens who watch her show when she appeared in a photo shot in GQ Magazine with co-stars Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron. The two women were in scantily clad outfits that bordered on “near pornographic pedophilia.”
“I think Lea Michele is sending the wrong message. She plays such a ‘good girl’ on ‘Glee’ and a lot of kids look up to her persona. Then she poses very provocatively on two magazine covers which makes my almost-13-year-old son very confused and offended,” New York mom Kim Trefcer told FOX411. “I find it frustrating as a parent who is trying to teach right from wrong to their kids and then you have things like this happen which is showing middle schoolers things like sex sells and all that goes along with that.”
The photo shoot in GQ was criticized by The Parents Television Council. Agron apologized for the shoot and Michele did not.
