Following a year of separation, on Friday, in Los Angeles, Ashton Kutcher, the “Two and a Half Men” star filed for divorce from actress wife Demi Moore. According to court papers filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Kutcher, 34, wanted divorce from Moore, 50, citing irreconcilable differences.
Kutcher also mentioned on the court papers that he is neither seeking spousal support not denying support to Moore. Kutcher has also hired noted celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser for the matter.
Moore and Kutcher separated in November 2011 when a woman from San Diego claimed that she had had a short affair with Kutcher.
After splitting from Bruce Willis, Moore had started dating Kutcher while he was a new and young star on the “That ’70s Show” on television. The couple married in 2005 in Los Angeles.
At the time of separation, Moore had said in a statement, “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton.
“As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”
Currently Kutcher is known to be dating Mila Kunis.
