Katt Williams was arrested on Friday on charges of endangering his children. Apparently, an investigation from the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services reported the presence of several guns and illegal drugs in Katt’s house. In a follow up, the LAPD arrested Katts and put him behind bars.
His kids have been placed in protective custody.
Celebrity news site TMZ. Com reported that Katt is already out on bail. Their reporters caught up with Katts after he was released, and he told the media, “If the police come in and raid my place and break into my gun boxes, you’re gonna find guns! I’m not in a gang, what difference does it make?”
Williams also told TMZ that there were no illegal drugs at his home, but there was weed and “Weed is not a drug.”
At least not the kind, for which you could have people arrested and their kids thrown into protective custody, claiming to protect them, while in actuality ending up harassing everyone.
Chiming in with his take on the gun control issue, Williams also told TMZ that he was surprised by the gun-related child endangerment charges. “How do you keep kids safe without guns?” he asked.
