Venable LLP 
announced today that Ronn Davids and Jennifer Cappelletty have joined Venable’s Los Angeles office as members of the firm’s Corporate Group. Mr. Davids and Ms. Cappelletty, previously members at Klee, Tuchin, Bogdanoff & Stern LLP, have developed vibrant national practices working with middle-market and emerging growth companies in distressed and non-distressed situations, with a special focus on representing private equity firms. Mr. Davids joins as Partner and Ms. Cappelletty joins as Of Counsel.
“Ronn and Jennifer will be incredible assets to our growing corporate practice in Los Angeles,” said Douglas Emhoff, Managing Partner of Venable’s Los Angeles office. “Their representation of private equity firms, as well as their vast experience in all aspects of handling corporate matters for public and private companies will expand the scope of services and expertise offered by Venable on the West Coast.”
Mr. Davids handles mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity and debt financings, leveraged buyouts, corporate restructurings and bankruptcies. He advises clients on the purchase and sale of core assets, negotiations with creditors, venture capital investments, executive compensation and other general corporate matters.
Ms. Cappelletty represents borrowers and secured lenders in a variety of financing transactions as well as the enforcement of remedies against collateral. Her practice also includes stock and asset acquisition transactions and general corporate matters.

Mr. Davids received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University. An ordained rabbi from the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, he serves as General Counsel to the Board of Trustees of Wilshire Boulevard Temple.
Ms. Cappelletty received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and graduated cum laude from Loyola Marymount University. She is on the Board of Governors of the Financial Lawyers Conference.
