The lawyer for Lindsay Lohan attempted to get the judge presiding over her criminal case to read a letter that claims he and the prosecutor are working together to ‘fix’ Lohan, according to TMZ.
The attorney, Mark Heller, attached a letter to legal documents he filed with the court. The letter was written by him and sent to the Santa Monica and L.A. City Attorneys. According to sources, the judge was irate with the letter because it appears to be an attempt to improperly influence the court. Heller wrote to Terry White and Spencer Hart in the letter, saying, “… we, as a team, [can] help ‘fix’ Lindsay Lohan.”
In the letter, Heller blames the trouble Lindsay is having on her dysfunctional family. He claims that you cannot judge her “without considering the pain, torment and confusion which Lindsay has experienced and has been afflicted with.”
He even tries to move the prosecutor and the judge away from jail time by saying, “Lindsay will gladly be participating in intensive psychotherapy, submitting herself to regular screenings and contributing her time to the production of public service messages.”
Heller also noted that he is looking into creating a Lindsay Lohan foundation that will offer a non-profit program for the benefit of young people. Heller never mentioned how the program will be funded.
