According to TMZ, Kim Kardashian, reality television star, sat for a deposition in Los Angeles, CA in mid-March 2013 as part of her divorce battle with Kris Humphries.
Kardashian is a socialite. When a person’s deposition is taken, a lot of the person’s past may be brought up. Kardashian already has a lot of her embarrassing moments discussed on the Internet. In 2006, she became famous because of a sex tape that afterwards resulted in a court ruling in her favor for $5 million. In 2007, Kardashian and her family went up a notch on celebrity status when their E! reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians and the spin-offs, with her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, were watched by many. In 2010, Kardashian became a high-earning reality star, with earnings of about $6 million.
Besides being famous herself, Kardashian has a well-recognized father who is a lawyer, and a step-father, Bruce Jenner, a former Olympic athlete.
Kardashian’s divorce may have a lot of disputes over money. She co-owns, with her sisters, a fashion boutique known as D-A-S-H. She has participated in the production of clothing and perfume.
In August 2011, Kardashian married Humphries. Humphries is a basketball player. In October 2011, Kardashian filed for divorce after 72 days of marriage. The media labeled the marriage or ceremony as a “publicity stunt”. Humphries was not her first marriage. In 2000, Kardashian married Damon Thomas, a music producer. The relationship ended in 2004 in divorce.

Kardashian is now pregnant. She was born October 21, 1980. She is dating a rapper. Her boyfriend is Kayne West, and the baby is said to be his.
At the deposition, Kardashian testified under oath that she actually loved Humphries, according to TMZ. The basketball player and Kardashian exchanged vows in a much publicized ceremony in August 2011. When she filed for divorce, Humphries alleged she used their televised wedding to increase her show ratings and income. According to TMZ, the deposition lasted nine-hours. Kardashian swore her reality television series was not involved in her decision to accept Humphries proposal.
Humphries’ lawyers are asking for an annulment. Humphries did not attend the deposition though he did not have a game, and the attorneys seemed to make a big deal about Humphries having a right to be at the deposition during a court hearing, according to TMZ.
The deposition took place at the offices of Kardashian’s attorney. Kardashian is represented by Laura Wasser. Wasser works on high net worth family dissolutions. She has represented Heidi Klum, Ryan Reynolds, Christina Aguilera, Stevie Wonder, Spike Jonze, and Nick Lachey.
According to TMZ, a trial date for Kardashian’s divorce has been set for May 6, 2013. Humphries’ attorney sought evidence that Kardashian defrauded the basketball player. Humphries wants an annulment based on fraud.
