Final Member of Indiana Tech Law School Faculty Hired

The final member of the founding faculty at the Indiana Tech Law School has been hired by Dean Peter C. Alexander. That final member is Nancy Marcus. Marcus is a constitutional lawyer who practices in Cleveland, Ohio. She is going to join the school’s faculty beginning in July, according to Inside Indiana Business.

Marcus has been described by Alexander as “an accomplished attorney, whose career has been focused on important constitutional issues. Nancy brings a depth of experiences with her that will surely benefit our students,” he adds.

Marcus works full-time at a law practice right now and she also works as an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She earned her bachelor’s degree from James Madison College at Michigan State University in political theory and constitutional democracy. Marcus earned her J.D. from Case Western. Marcus also has two graduate law degrees. She has a Master of Laws and a Doctoral of Juridical Science. She earned these degrees at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Marcus has been published in the University of Arkansas Law Review, the Columbia University Journal of Gender & Law, and the George Mason University Civil Rights Law Journal.

“We are extremely fortunate to add Nancy’s background, skills, and insights to our team,” Alexander said.

The first class at the law school will arrive in August of 2013.
