K&L Gates Opens Delaware Office; Adds Local Team

K&L Gates LLP announced on Monday the launch of their 48^th worldwide office in Wilmington, Delaware. Four local attorneys have joined the Wilmington office as partners. The new partners include Scott E. Waxman, Eric N. Feldman, Nicholas I. Froio, and Christina M. Houston. The entire team of four used to work at the Delaware law firm of Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP, and used to practice in alternative business entities. The new team used to employ alternative business entities in a wide range of cross-border as well as domestic financings and transactions. Scott Waxman leads the new group.

The launch of the Wilmington office marks the law firm opening its seventh office in 2013 in keeping with the momentum of its corporate practice. The law firm confirmed that Wilmington provides a strategic location for the corporate and financial institution clients of the firm. The Wilmington office is the law firm’s 26^th office in the United States.

Stressing on the importance of Delaware, K&L Gates’ Chairman and Global Managing Partner Peter J.
