Farrah Abraham has cut a deal over a sex tape she made, which we recently reported on, and is “happy” and enthusiastic in progressing from reality television star to porn star. She recently sold the rights to a sex tape to Vivid entertainment, making a million dollars, and regards this as setting her on the right trail for the kind of life she intends to leads. It at least is giving her a reputation to follow as a chaser to her career as a reality television pregnant teen.
“I am happy with the seven figure settlement I have reached, with who I feel to be the best adult entertainment company in the industry, Vivid,” said Abraham in a statement on Tuesday. “This is a risk for me to take, however I feel comfortable having given the rights to Vivid, a company I know can handle the media and press surrounding my sexuality.”
Trusting a porn company to “handle the press around one’s sexuality” is a bizarre statement for a young woman to make, but Vivid for their part is enthusiastic that the video will be a hot seller. Steven Hirsh, Vivid’s top guy, says the footage of the 21-year-old is “amazing” and that she is “gorgeous, sexy, and absolutely uninhibited.” Of course, you’d expect him to say that, he’s peddling the video.
“I am very pleased with the outcome and to have this opportunity to be an entrepreneur in another unexpected light in my life. I look forward to my future goals of completing my Masters degree, focusing on being a great mother for my daughter as well as many other culinary business endeavors in the future,” she said, citing, apparently, the normal track of porn stars — and “entrepreneur” is a marvelous euphemism for selling sex for money. She seems taken in by Hirsch’s sweet talk:
“I think many fans will be shocked at how truly explicit it is. Farrah is gorgeous, sexy, and absolute uninhabited. Farrah’s looks remind me of a young Kim Kardashian, and we all know how her story turned out,” a line we could imagine he uses on all the young girls who nervously come to his company.
Whether having sex with a stranger and selling it as a porno is really such a great career revitalizer remains to be seen, but those who are interested in the video can grab it on May 6 at Vivid.com; it will be in stores on May 14.
