The good news comes amidst various avenues of success such as the anticipation on her album Love and War, due September 2013, with her chart-topping single, “The One,” released May 7, 2013.
Tamar comes from a musical family, with notable sister Toni Braxton, and began singing as young as a toddler, before going on to sing in the church choir, where her father was pastor. Her and her sisters cut a record deal in 1989 with their first single, “Good Life,” which was not a hit, but got her started in the right direction.
