Jones Walker Opens Cincinnati Office

Law firm Jones Walker LLP recently announced the opening of a Cincinnati office. The business- focused law firm has offices in Alabama; Arizona; California; Washington, D.C.; Florida; Georgia; Louisiana; Mississippi; New York; and Texas, and their Cincinnati branch will be their first branch in the Midwestern United States. The new office is anchored by John Peck, and will specialize in public finance and housing law.

Peck is the son of Judge John W. Peck, the namesake of Cincinnati’s federal building. The junior Peck has more than 40 years of experience working on affordable housing finance law across the United States. Peck helped to write early regulations for the Section 8 government-subsidized housing program.

Joining Peck at the Cincinnati office will be partners Alysse Hollis and Ronald Bell, along with Robert Bruns as special counsel. Hollis’ practice focuses on the structuring and documentation of housing finance transactions, and Bell focuses on finance and tax transactions. Bruns has served as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel and disclosure counsel on a variety of multifamily housing bond financings.
