Foley & Lardner, one of the heaviest hitting law firms in the country, has picked up a new attorney, Mark S. Mandel, a man with wide-ranging experience in both the private and public sector. Mandel joins Foley’s Securities Enforcement & Litigation Practice in New York.

The wealth of experience that Tuteur mentioned includes 20 years of work with investment banks, corporate investment advisors, hedge funds, and even working with the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Department of Justice, and other high profile cases. His most recent work was with New York’ Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, and he’s also served as chief of the New York office of the SEC’s Division of the Broker-Dealer Enforcement. The sheer diversity of his experience, as well as the amount of time spent on high profile, high interest cases filled out his resume well, and lead him to be of interest to Foley.
