Steven Eckhaus is joining Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP. Eckhaus leaves Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP after five years where he chaired the executive employment practice, according to the WSJ. Eckhaus has experience negotiating banker pay packages. Today’s Q2 earnings report showed that the Bank of America’s net income rose by 63%. In light of such profit increases, it is logical that employees need an advocate to help them achieve what they may perceive as a more equitable pay, especially in light of the increased profitability of their firm. In that sense, Steven Eckhaus seems to be well met for the times.
