Barnes & Thornburg Beefs Their Litigation with Two Attorneys

Barnes & Thornburg’s Los Angeles Office has added two new attorneys, Gabrielle Anderson-Thompson and Sarah Johnston, beefing up their litigation Department , making it 29 strong, continually growing as it has since their emergence in 2011. The two women join colleagues who come from the former Yukevich Calfo & Cavanaugh firm, such as partner Alexander Calfo, and associates Kelly Olah, Julia Romano, and Stacy Foster.

“Our office continues to grow, reflecting the firm’s strength in attracting new talent to build our capability to serve clients in a number of practice areas,” said David Allen, managing partner of Barnes & Thornburg’s Los Angeles office, in a rather straightforward and obvious drift.

What these two women bring, specifically, is experience and capacity in general litigation and products liability. Anderson-Thompson, who graduated in 2006 from UCLA School of Law, after finishing her undergraduate work at the University of California in San Diego in 2003, emphasizes medical device litigation as well, not to mention general negligence and complex litigation, with further experience in premises liability, business litigation, and general liability matters.

Johnston also has a focus on general litigation and liability, deriving ultimately from her education at Boston University School of Law.

Barnes, which has a range of offices across the nation, not only in California, but in Atlanta, Delaware, Chicago, Indiana, Washington D.C., and elsewhere, is over 600 strong, and will be a solid platform for these women to build a standing.
