George Zimmerman persists in making news, after being pulled over for speeding twice, for being photographed with a gun maker, and also for helping a family from a car wreck; but this time police are investigating “possible domestic battery,” following an incident 2:10 p.m. Monday when Shellie Zimmerman, who recently filed for divorce from George Zimmerman, the figure who became infamous after killing teenager Trayvon Martin, and for recently being acquitted of murder in the same case, showed up to collect more of her stuff from the place she and George stayed during his trial.

As she initially reported, Zimmerman punched her father in the nose and threatened both her father and her with a gun. Later she changed her story, and the gun was never found; furthermore, she has decided not to press charges, and her father has decided the same.

Nevertheless, charges might still be pressed, pending what the labs show regarding Shellie Zimmerman’s smashed iPad device. She had been using the iPad to video tape the disturbance, but the device got smashed. A lab is attempting to recover evidence to determine if any charges need to be placed.

Since the former couple blamed each other for the fight, it isn’t certain what, if anything, the device will show. “As of right now, it could be either one or it could be no one. It depends what that iPad has on it, what that footage shows,” said Lake Mary police spokesman Zach Hudson.

Mark O’Mara, Zimmerman’s attorney, claims George did nothing wrong, but nevertheless said he was not going to represent George if charges were pressed.

“I’ve come to know them as a family, and it’s not a good idea to get in between them,” said O’Mara, as reported by MSN News.

Certainly emotions are charged between the couples. During an interview on “Good Morning America” that aired last Friday, Shellie said of her husband that “I have a selfish husband and I think George is all about George,” and she further said he was reckless and felt invincible.
