Belkin Burden Wenig & Goldman have just reinforced their staff, already 50 strong with offices in New York and Connecticut, with a veteran of real estate law, Allison R. Lissner. Lissner is a guru in real estate law, with special emphasis on office and retail leasing, but with experience working for Fortune 500 companies, big-box tenant and high-end retailers. She’s worked with corporations and individuals developing and dispositioning vacant land, office buildings, apartment building, and more.
“Allison has a well-deserved reputation for excellence in the transactional real estate world, especially in the area of leasing, and she has developed an impressive client base,” said partner Daniel Altman, chair of the Transactional Department. “Her addition to the firm bolsters our ability to advise clients on the most complex and novel real estate matters. We’re very happy to welcome her to the team.”
Lissner is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey, with her J.D. magna cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law, and before that, her B.A. cum laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Belkin grabbed her from her latest stint at the Manhattan office of Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard, P.A.
“I am thrilled to be working with a terrific group of attorneys with unsurpassed expertise in all facets of real estate,” said Lissner.  “BBWG offers a broad platform for me to expand my real estate practice and presence in New York. I look forward to working closely with my new colleagues to serve our clients and build the firm’s Transactional Department further.”
