Not only did she rape infants at the Ohio day care where she worked, she filmed it for her boyfriend to watch. Heather Koon, 25, is facing two counts of rape after police discovered a video on his laptop of her “engaging in sexual conduct with an unknown infant.” Further investigation revealed there are at least two victims involved, but under the age of 2. Both her and her boyfriend, who is a registered sex offender, were arrested.
“He doesn’t like his diaper being changed. He doesn’t like being touched,” said Andrea Lankey, mother of a 2-year-old who she entrusted to Koon’s care, as reported by the Huffington Post. “When I used to drop him off there he used to scream so bad that he would be like hyperventilating.”
The daycare, ABC Kidz, minimized the extent of damage Koon caused, with their lawyer saying, “The daycare in cooperating with the investigation and we’re compiling a list to determine which kids were present while she, Heather Koon, worked there. We do not think there are more victims, but out of the abundance of cautiousness we want to make sure that we are correct.”
How far they are to be trusted in this is uncertain, however. A father of one of the victims told WIOI that they “tried to act like it was a simple assault” when they first contacted him.
“A few hours later they called us back again and asked us to keep it discreet.” He also added, “It’s every parent’s worst nightmare.”
